Refund Policy

How cancelling works, and when you can get your money back for a membership or a course.

Draft for review. This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Highlighted text marks details Big Dill Media still needs to confirm.

Cancelling your membership

You can cancel any time from your account, or by emailing support@bigdillmedia.com. Cancelling stops your next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the month or year you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Monthly memberships

Monthly payments aren't refunded once a month has started, including partial months. If you were charged for a renewal you meant to cancel, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it, as long as you haven't used the membership since.

Annual memberships

If you cancel within 14 days of your first annual payment, we'll refund it in full. After that, annual payments aren't refunded, but you keep access until the end of your year. The same 14-day window applies to each yearly renewal, so if a renewal catches you by surprise, let us know.

Single courses

If a course isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying it and before you've watched more than 25% of its lessons, and we'll refund it in full. Your access to the course ends when the refund is made.

When we always refund

We don't refund the current period if an account is suspended for breaking our community rules.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@bigdillmedia.com from the address on your account and tell us what you bought and roughly when. We'll reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original card through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Sales tax is refunded along with the price.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn't take away any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act. If the law gives you a better right to cancel or a refund, that right applies.
